Care Philosophy

I am a strong believer in the mind-body-spirit perspective of health & dis-ease; I have been a long-time advocate of integrated healing. I believe that knowledge is power; I focus on education in my clinical consultations so that patients can play a more active role in their health care. The key to health is balance, whether it is between hormones, brain neurotransmitters or work-family committments.

Specialties

In my practice I strive for a balance between my passion for teaching, my long-term committment to women's health & my respect for personal growth. I specialize in mood/anxiety problems across a woman's life cycle & issues of the OB/GYN-psychiatry interface, such as PMS, depression in pregnancy & postpartum, peri/menopausal difficulites & sexuality as well as eating disorders. I have a special interest in holistic health maintenance & wellness advocacy.

I do not bill insurance companies for my services. I can give you the necessary paperwork to submit if you are interested in seeking reimbursement.
