My practice is a CONSULTATION only practice. I see patients who are referred by other medical and mental health professionals. My speciality is working with women around life cycle issues that often involve hormonal concerns and the proper use of psychiatric medication and nutriceuticals.
Many patients are also interested in a second opinion about their psychiatric diagnosis or treatment as well as additional information and thus may be self referred.
I provide 2 types of services.
1. FACE-TO-FACE appointment: My comprehensive consultation is a one-time extended evaluation lasting ~2-2.5 hours where we will focus on one or two major issues or questions. I will ask you to complete a detailed health questionnaire before your appointment, provide a copy of recent laboratory results and a list of all your prescription medication as well as over-the-counter supplements & nutriceuticals. The more time you spend preparing for this appointment, the more time we will have to address your concerns as completely as possible.
My fee is $400, payable by check and is due at the time of the appoinment. This fee also includes our initial phone contact and phone consultation with your referring mental health/medical provider after your appointment.
Briefer consultations can be scheduled at $200/ hr- these are appropriate for less complicated/complex situations.
2. PHONE appointment: I also provide briefer consultations by phone. This consultation can assist you in deciding on a direction of treatment, answer general questions regarding medication and provide limited second opinions.
My fee is $50/15 minute increments with a maximum 60 min phone consultation. These appointments are scheduled and payment by check is due at the time of the phone consultation.
I will not be prescribing or changing your current medication as that is between you and your primary medical provider. I will offer recommendations to your medical or mental health provider at your request. I can also assist in referrals for services you might like to pursue.
